(Taya Swanson, coordinator of Leadership Development, will be leaving November 30, after several years in the Conference office. She will be missed, but we pray for fulfillment in her future plans.)

"I wanted to let the Dakotas Conference know that I am forever grateful for being able to serve in the Dakotas Conference. During my time with the conference I have a deeper understanding of what it means to be in ministry and to be doing God’s work.  I have always felt my call would lead me back to the medical field.

Starting December 5th, I will be assisting and leading the Avera Health Laboratories in their efforts to consolidate product lines and laboratory equipment across the Avera Health Network. I want to thank everyone in the conference for all your support and love during my time here. I will miss everyone.

"Taya and I started the journey with the Dakotas Conference together when we were hired to serve the Thrive campaign. We were fortunate to have her stay on with us for another year and a half as our leadership coordinator, working with our DCOM’s, BOM and pastors.

Taya has been an invaluable asset to me in my role and an amazing partner in leadership. I will miss her expertise and professionalism and the joy of working alongside her. We wish her well in her new endeavor; she leaves us all better for having been a part of our team."
