Dear Faithful Followers of Christ,

When it rains…it pours! And, that is what’s happening at Sunnycrest UMC in Sioux Falls, SD. People are pouring into worship, they are pouring into serving the community, and they are pouring in their commitment of faith and their love of Jesus. Through the grace of the Holy Spirit, Sunnycrest has seen an influx of people eager to worship and be filled by the word of God. And with that comes the need for improvements and additions to accommodate the people pouring their time and faith into the ministries at Sunnycrest UMC.

Pastor Charlie Moore is in his second year of service at Sunnycrest. Charlie leads by example; he is building a strong team of individuals who in turn are sharing their faith in the community. Many new disciples are being developed and growing in their faith in Jesus Christ.

This Builders Club call will help provide a welcoming entry, fix a leaky roof, rebuild the boiler, and remodel the bathrooms to provide space for the 14 individuals who need ADA accommodations. These updates are essential for Sunnycrest to continue to do what they do so well by welcoming all who enter their doors! Sunnycrest is receiving new members at a rapid rate, opening their doors seven nights a week to those who want to know Jesus, and expanding their worship area by building an extension to the sanctuary for the sound system which enables the praise band to spread the love of Jesus through music and celebration each Sunday morning. The Holy Spirit is alive at Sunnycrest and with your help, they will continue to reach new people and make new disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
