The United Methodist Church of Hettinger, ND is a caring community of God’s people seeking to make disciples of Jesus Christ. They are a congregation that loves Jesus and loves to laugh, sing, honor, and celebrate each other’s gifts as they worship, study, and join in fellowship in Christ’s name. Hettinger UMC welcomes everyone to come as they are and experience what God has in store for them.

One of the many ways the congregation at Hettinger UMC continues to grow, reach new people, and share in fellowship is through their presence in the community. They seek opportunities to invite people to their church through Sunday School, small groups, and fee concerts.

Hettinger UMC loves their community, and to continue their community ministries, they need to repair their roof over the Sunday School rooms. To address safety and insurability concerns and prevent future issues, the roof must be repaired, some rafters need mending or replaced, and new shingles must be installed to complete the project. These resources will aid the caring people of Hettinger to continue growing their many ministries as they reach new people in Christ’s name.

Thank you for helping us conserve postage and paper for this important ministry. Spirit of Faith Lutheran-Methodist Church extends our deepest thanks for the generosity of our Builders Club partners throughout the Conference. When Spirit of Faith was first dreamed up as a risky venture of faith in 2016, uniting two denominations in a small town, we trusted the wisdom and guidance of the Spirit would not lead us astray. Our new church building continues to be a source of genuine welcome and joy in the community. But we lacked proper signage to share that welcome and other information with others. The generosity of our Builders Club partners has allowed us to purchase and install a high-tech, digital LED sign that can easily be updated from anywhere. We imagine this as a resource not just for this congregation but for the wider community, sharing important events and information, but also sharing the most important message of all: “God Loves You!”
