MITCHELL -- Churches from across the Dakotas  Conference responded to Bishop Ough's 2012 Thanksgiving Appeal with $10,402.47.  The money was divided between disaster response to Hurricane Isaac and selected Native American ministries in the Dakotas Conference.

$5,201.22 has been sent to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) for needs related to Hurricane Isaac.

The remaining $5,201.25 has been sent to the following Dakotas Native American programs:

HOPE Center in Rapid City $1,733.75

The Sioux Falls Community of Shalom $1,733.75

The Four Winds Ministry in Fargo $1,733.75
