The 22nd session of the Dakotas Annual Conference will kick off in less than 23 days.  Here are a few questions people have been asking about this year's conference "God's Vision, Our Mission--Unleashed".

How do I register and what is the last date I can register?

Registration is online.  Click on this link to register.  You can register anytime, even on site.  However a late fee of $25 will be applied the basic registration fee of $85 on May 19, 2015.  Also if you register after May 19 meals cannot be gauranteed.  So register now!

Who can come to Annual Conference?

Anyone is welcome to attend.  If you want to attend the entire conference there is a guest registration fee of $5 per day.  Please register to attend the Pre Conference Workshops.  However anyone can attend without registering the Teaching Sessions with Rev. Jorge Acevedo at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and the Celebration of Life in Ministry Service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015.  The Pre Conference Workshops and Teaching Sessions are at the Holiday Inn in Fargo, ND.  The Celebration of Life in Ministry Service is at Calvary UMC in West Fargo, ND.

I heard something about a thumbdrive, does that mean I can only participate in Annual Conference if I have a laptop, tablet or smartphone?

The thumbdrive will replace the folder of promotional materials you recieved at the past conferences.  In additon, as many videos, power points and other media that are available before Annual Conference Session will be placed on the thumbdrive for you to share back in your local church.  All the business of the Annual Conference will be available in the Conference Workbook electronically or can be printed before you attend the session. There will be a few printed copies of the Conference Workbook at the registration desk for a fee.

Where and when do I order my 2015 Conference Journal?

Order your 2015 Conference Journal when you register for Annual Conference Session. It is part of the registration process.  If you are not attending Annual Conference you can order your 2015 Journal by contacting Susan Punt at 605-996-6552 or click here to send here an e-mail. 

I do not see a banquet listed on the schedule, is there no banquet?

The banquet has been replaced by the Mission Festival on Thursday evening. This will be an opportunity for fun, fellowship and learning.  Conference mission ministries will be there to show participants what they have been up.  Several fun events will take place during the Mission Festival.  There will be appetizers and sweet treats served.
