MITCHELL, SOUTH DAKOTA -- The Dakotas Hunger Distribution Committee met on November 14, 2013 and distributed $22,100 from our Fall Mission Events to 26 Hunger programs in North Dakota and South Dakota.  The committee was able to distribute an additional $4,270 over last year’s distribution amount.
 
The following hunger ministries received funds:  The Banquet-Sioux Falls, Cornerstone Rescue Mission-Rapid City, Community Banquet-Pierre, Ruth Meier’s Hospitality House in Bismarck, Warm Welcome at Tree of Life, Churches United for the Homeless-Moorhead, New Life Center-Fargo, Trinity Lutheran Banquet-Bismarck, Love Feast-Mitchell, Harvest Table-Brookings, Love Feast-Grand Forks Zion, Fellowship Feast-Wagner UMC, A Taste of Heaven-Minot, Aberdeen Salvation Army, Burke Senior Meals, Springfield Dakota Senior Meals, Neighborhood Outreach for Feeding Kids-Sioux Falls Wesley, White River After School Program & Youth Outreach, Winner UMC Blast, The Vermillion Welcome Table, Rapid City Wednesday Night Live, Tyndall Dakota Senior Meals, The Gathering Meal in Madison, Bonesteel Dakota Senior Meals, Plankinton Dakota Senior Meals, and Presho Dakota Senior Meals.

The Hunger Distribution Committee members include: Lou Whitmer, Jim Dustin, Pam Hoepfer, Sharon Fickbohm and JoAnn Schlimgen.  The Committee represented people from the areas that had the events.
