A week at Storm Mountain Center can be yours to do as you wish.  It might mean reading, hiking, visiting friends in the Hills or even volunteering at camp if you’d like.  You decide how to spend your week.  The Camping Ministry is looking for bus chaperones from Brookings, SD along I-29 and I-90 to Storm Mountain Center.  Here’s the deal:

• Board the bus in Brookings, SD on Sunday morning.

• We will provide the list of campers.   With your list in hand you need to:

  • Check the campers in at each stop

  • Be sure all campers are accounted for after lunch and bathroom stops

  • Assure all campers are safe

  • Answer questions 

• Once you have arrived at Storm Mountain Center the week is yours to spend as you desire

• On Friday morning the campers return home and you assume the same responsibilities you did on Sunday.

• A background check is required.  There is no cost to you and the rewards of seeing the campers enthusiasm and the bonds of Christian Community that form are uplifting and inspirational.
