Remembering 28 Lives
PIERRE – A prayer vigil was held in Pierre, South Dakota on Monday, December 17 in response to the Connecticut shooting. 28 lives were remembered.
The Pierre-Fort Pierre Ministerium hosted the event. The President of the Ministerium is Rev. Karl Kroger, Southeast Pierre UMC, stated, “ The vigil was a chance to remember the victics and pray for the nation. The shootings have impacted many people and everyone benefited from the service.
