Serving a meal and fellowship in Delmont

Saturday, May 23 the Wagner and Tyndall UMC's provided dinner to the community and volunteers in Delmont, SD. Following the tornado that struck May 10, volunteers and members of the Delmont community gathered at  "No Place" Bar and Grill a donate space for the meal.  Members from both churches were present to help serve. 

Pastor Laurie Kidd, Wagner and Tyndall UMC saitd, "Isn't this what we as Christians are called to do?  Serve others?  Amen."

Former member remembers Delmont UMC

Although our Methodist Church in Delmont, SD was decommissioned in 2004, the building was lost after Mother's Day 2015 due to structural damage from a tornado. I have created the video attached in memoriam of our time in worship there in this building that was over 100 years old. I loved growing up in this church, going to Sunday School, performing programs and being confirmed here. Perhaps some of the conference members remember this wonderful place as fondly as I do.
