Reverend Steve Olson,63, of Oakes, North Dakota, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota. Rev. Olson, a Dakotas elder, was serving the United Methodist Churches of Cogswell and Oakes, North Dakota, at the time of his death.

Pastor Steve served the Dakotas Conference throughout his ministry career at: Napoleon / Braddock; Claremont / Hecla; Belle Fourche; and Oeakes / Cogswell.

There will be two live streamed services.  A more casual celebration of life service on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at 3 p.m., at the Oakes United Methodist Church, and a traditional memorial service on  Monday, Decemberr 28, 2020, at 2 p.m., will honor Steve's ministry and life.
