Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking, from which the movie of the same name was produced, will speak at Jeschke Fine Arts Centers Meredith Auditorium on the University of Sioux Falls campus at 7 p.m. on October 18, 2019. Sister Helens talk, entitled Getting Jesus Right: My Spiritual Journey, will draw from her latest memoir entitled River of Fire. The evening will include a book sale and signing. United Methodist Communications is supporting Christmastime outreach efforts by offering event grants and other resources for churches. Grant recipients will receive promotional items and resources.
