Christmas Stockings for Native American children.

Russell Masartis of Tree of Life Ministry is looking for some volunteers in the Rapid City area to fill Christmas stockings which will be given to needy children on South Dakota Reservations this Christmas season.  If there is a small group of workers, willing to donate one day to this project, a day can be arranged by calling Ed Vocu at National Relief Charities, 866-556-2472. The stockings and all the contents to stuff themn with have been provided; they just need workers who can fill the stockings. When you call Ed, please let him know that you are from a United Methodist Church associated with Tree of Life Relief Agency.

From December 1st until the 14th, Tree of Life will also be sorting Christmas gifts on the Rosebud Reservation. In 2013, Tree of Life distributed almost 22,000 gifts to children and elders. It takes a lot of extra helpers to perform this task, and any group that would like to come and give a day, a weekend, or an overnight will be welcome at Tree of Life in Mission, SD.  For more information, please call Russell or Jamie at 605-856-4266.
