Camper safety and health, and overall program quality are extremely important to us.  Dakotas staff regularly review every facet of camp programs and operations to ensure a safe and quality camp experience for all participants.  In 2017, Lake Poinsett Camp and Wesley Acres Camp achieved accreditation through the American Camp Association, the national accrediting body for quality camping programs. Storm Mountain Center is seeking full accreditation in 2019.  To earn accreditation, camps must comply with hundreds of health, safety, and program quality standards.
