Have you felt God calling you to preach the Word?

Rev. Andy Bartel, Dakotas Conference elder and lead pastor at St. John's United Methodist Church in Anchorage, Alaska, will be leading  this workshop on preaching.  This workshop is the official Lay Servant Ministry Advanced class through the General Board of Discipleship.

There are five modules, each two hours in length and will be held on January 24 and 31, 2021; February 7, 21 and 28, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. CDT, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. MDT

Please purchase and read (before class) the book "From Pew to Pulpit: A beginner's guide to preaching" by Clifton F. Guthrie.  This advanced class will work towards certification as a Lay Servant, Lay Speaker, and Lay Minister in the United Methodist Church.

You must attend all five workshops - it's free to laity and clergy.
