Children and Youth ministry workers are at the core of a successful, vibrant youth ministry.  This training works to strengthen the lay leaders and staff within congregations, by desigining a ministry plan and growing congregational support of children's and youth ministry.

Selected churches will participate in their third large group training for the Children's and Youth Ministry Cohort.

For churches who are part of the Children's and Youth Ministry Cohort, the Conference is covering the cost (up to four people) to attend the event.  Expenses covered for the cohort include:  one night's lodging (up to two rooms) and the round-trip mileage that is over 300 miles.  We encourage all to be good stewards of resources by carpooling and sharing room(s) when appropriate.

If your church has more than four people who would like to attend, all are very welcome, however the additional travel expenses will need to be paid by your church or the individuals themselves - the cost of registration is $25.00.

January 12, 2019 - Sioux Falls First

All churches are welcome and invited to attend, cost of registration is $25.00 per person (this includes lunch). The registration fee is payable to Dakotas Conference. The fee can either be mailed to the conference office or brought with you to the training. Reading material will be available for purchase during the event for $25.00 (book bundle). Travel and lodging will be covered by the church or individual attending the workshop.
