Clergy Benefits Academy sponsored by Wespath for clergy in the Dakotas Annual Conference under appointment in a local church. Clergy Benefits Academy returns to offer a wonderful in-person experience in Colorado on November 14-16, 2022!  A great opportunity to include your spouse and/or your colleagues in learning and connection in a beautiful location. The Board of Pensions and our Area clergy well-being initiative are partnering to cover up to $1500 of the expenses for you or up to $2000 for both you and your spouse!

You will:

• Work on each of five dimensions of health: Spiritual, Social, Mental-Emotional, Physical and Financial
• Gain information to help lead your congregation with mission, ministry and finances
• Network with other clergy from across the denomination
• Take home practical ideas, new resources and knowledge
• Earn Continuing Education Units (CEU's)!

Your spouse will have the opportunity to attend all workshops with you and also some that are designed specifically for clergy spouses and include topics such as:

• Healthy transitions
• What is my Sabbath
• Boundary basics

To obtain scholarship funds, contact Leana Stunes. Expenses covered include airfare, airport transportation, evening meals, hotel accommodations, and event registration – not to exceed the scholarship amount. You will be asked to provide a confirmation of registration to access funds. Funds will be available on a reimbursable basis (actual receipt or confirmation to be provided) so that you can start planning and preparing! Encourage your colleagues!
