Solar Oven Partners
Solar Oven Partners (SOP) is seeking a candidate with the necessary skill set, gifts and graces to fill the Director's position. This vibrant international ministry of the Dakotas Conference, an Advance mission project, has a 24-year history of placing solar ovens in the hands of the poor, and empowering persons through training in solar cooking and water pasteurization. The Director provides supervision, instruction, and leadership in all SOP operations, recruits and manages volunteers, leads Volunteer-in-Mission teams overseas and in the U.S., and works to expand and sustain the donor base. The position will remain open until the qualified and called candidate has been hired. Resumes will be reviewed as they are received. Lake Poinsett Camp
Lake Poinsett United Methodist Camp and Living Waters Retreat Center, a ministry of the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church, is seeking an experienced professional in the area of facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a radical hospitality mindset, knowledge of a wide range of maintenance tasks, experience in working with volunteers and staff teams, and an understanding of ministry as a lifestyle. This is a full-time, exempt position that includes salary, on-site housing, benefits, and meals provided when guests are present. The camp is located on a quarter-of-a-mile beachfront property on the south side of Lake Poinsett, South Dakota. Anticipated start date of November 2024, though actual start date can be flexible.
