Rev. Dan Bader, Southwest District Superintendent

Rev. Daniel "Dan" Bader became a licensed local pastor in 1994, was ordained a deacon in 2000, and full elder in the Dakotas Conference in 2002. His appointments include Whitel Lake/ Underwood  in 1994, Extension to the West Ohio Conference in 1997, Huron Riverview/ Virgil in 2000, Valley City Epworth in 2004, Pierre First in 2012, Extension to the Minnesota Conference in 2012 and as an interim Pastor at Rapid City Canyon Lake starting  in April 2022 before he became the Southwest District superintendent July 1, 2022. 

Dan received his Bachelor degree  from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD, and his Master of Divinity from the Methodist Theological School  in Ohio.

Dan is married to Monica, and they have two adult children: Matthew and Nathaniel.
