As a clergy person, you think you have your clergy taxes figured out. Yet, we have heard many horror stories that reveal a few mistakes can be costly. Yes – you are in the midst of Advent season, but waiting to get a handle on your tax situation is never a good idea.

This virtual workshop is designed for clergy in the Dakotas and Minnesota Annual Conferences who still have questions about clergy taxes! Treasurers or individuals responsible for clergy payroll are also invited to attend.

Connie, principal and owner of Buskohl CPA PC, and Maryann are well-versed in the complexities of clergy taxes. NOW is the time to ensure you are ready to close out 2021 with your financials in order. Connie and Maryann will spend the first 1.5 hours sharing:

• Definition of clergy
• What makes clergy unique (from a tax perspective)
• The two types of taxes, how and when you should pay them
• Types of clergy compensation and its taxability
• Housing Allowance and Exclusion
• Clergy Expenses
• How much money you should set aside for taxes

The concluding 30 minutes are provided for your questions.

Attendees are offered a discounted rate of $50 for a personal 45-minute session (preferably held in January 2022) to discuss your individual tax situation, estimates, and other questions you may have.
