Include a message in your church newsletter or pastor’s blog by using and adapting this text. 

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) depends on contributions from offerings like UMCOR Sunday to keep operations strong so that they can respond as soon as a disaster strikes. And because the offering received on UMCOR Sunday supports overhead costs, when a disaster occurs, 100% of donations can go where they are most needed.
