Camp and Retreat Ministry

The camping ministry is a key partner to help develop future leaders of the church and a culture of call. The Dakotas Conference has three camps: Lake Poinsett Camp on the south shore of Lake Poinsett in east-central South Dakota, Storm Mountain Center in the Black Hills of South Dakota and Wesley Acres Camp and Retreat Center located north of Valley City, North Dakota.

The Camp and Retreat Ministry focuses on developing individuals to become all that God calls them to be through age-appropriate opportunities. The ministry partners with the Conference's local churches  to continue growing disciples and leaders who are making a difference in their schools, churches and communities.
