Th e 2013 Leadership Institute is just around the corner and the super early bird and early bird deadlines are coming up soon. 

Leadership Institute is best experienced with a team.  Jodi Catado, Director of Leadeship Development explains, "We have found that the ability to process your experience with another person from your ministry context is extremely helpful when you begin to implement what you have learned."

So if you haven't done so already, look around for other leaders who could attend with you. Last year we had 100 persons attend from the Dakotas Conference who then returned home energized and excited to implement new ideas they learned!
 
Also, remember that young adult discounts are offered which include attendance at the Leadership Institute portion of the event (Pre-Institutes are an additional charge) for only $49.  If you are a church leader you know that the Dakotas Conference is focused on raising up a new generation of missional leaders, so look around and find promising young adults who are serving in some ministry capacity and encourage them to join us.  You might even consider sponsoring their way as an investment in the future of the church!
 
To receive the best rates from our hotel partners, reservations must be made by September 6, 2013.  We have a block of 50 rooms reserved at Drury Inn and Suites in Overland Park. Please use the attached .pdf file to make your reservations for both the bus and the motel. To hold a seat on the bus the cost is $25 per person. This amount will cover the meals to and from Kansas City. The bus is provided free of charge by the Equipping Link of the Dakotas Conference. You will need to register for the institute online yourself and to choose from a variety of dynamic workshops. Leadership Institute workshops are offered in the following areas:
