Registration is now open for the 32nd session of the Dakotas Annual Conference to be held at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota. Pre-conference meetings and clergy session - part 1 begin on Thursday, June 5. Opening worship and plenary time will begin Friday, June 6, at 8:30 a.m.
As part of the registration process, there will an opportunity to register for Lunch-n-Learn Workshops to be held on Friday and Saturday. Descriptions of those learning times can be found on the Conference website, www.DakotasUMC.org .
There is also a place to indicate any special accessibilty needs attendees might have so we can do our best to accomodate them as we do seating arrangements and room assignments.
Childcare will be provided on Friday and Saturday in the Conference room of the Conference office, located across the street from campus. There will also be childcare at Downtown First United Methodist Church during the the Celebration of Life in Ministry service on Sunday morning. The service, which begins at 10 a.m., will be livestreamed and worship resources provided for local churches who want to connect to this shared worship experience.
Attendees needing hotel rooms should make reservations as soon as possible. Hotel blocks of rooms are available at Americinn, Days Inn, and My Place – see a complete list of hotel information on our website. Make reservations before May 4, 2025.
This year’s miracle offering will be collected for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and their important work across the country and around the world. Watch for more information and promotional resouces to come soon!
In conjunction with our Miracle Offering, we will be collecting personal dignity kit, home care kits, and other items for Midwest Mission - for more information check out our website.
