On Thursday evening, June 6, 2019 Annual Conference participants enjoyed food – hamburgers, brats, and fellowship at Sertoma Park. The park is situated on a beautiful three-mile stretch along the Missouri River.

This year’s “competition” or fun event featurd a 64-team corn-hole tournament. The tournament featured 16 teams from each District.

The winning team was from the Southeast District. The team of Pastor Steve Trefz, who serves Fusion UMC in Mitchell, South Dakota and Pastor Andrew Gross, who serves the United Methodist Church in Madison, South Dakota were awarded the championship trophy. There were crowned the first-ever Dakotas Conference Corn-hole Champions.
