Mission Cafe and Bakery collects UMCOR kits and raises funds for hunger

Southern Hills UMC hosted the Mission Café and Bakery on Saturday, September 29th, 2018, in Sioux Falls, SD with food stations, a bakery, and lots of kids’ activities.
More than $8,000 was collected to fund hunger projects in the Dakotas Conference and throughout the world.
UMCOR kits were collected and packed into a semi-trailer, to be shipped to the UMCOR Depot West in Utah. The total value of kits collected was close to $20,000.

Solar Ovens Partners, Out in Faith Bakken Oil Outreach, and Nightwatch Canteen missions were on site to share how their missions are impacting lives throughout the Dakotas Conference.
