The theme of our 27th Annual Conference is "Be the Light: Live Hope!" and centers around our gospel imperative to heal a broken world. The Dakotas Conference will be in session, Saturday, October 10, 2020, 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. CDT,  9 -11 a.m. and 12-3 p.m MDT. It is going to be a jam-packed, one-day virtual event. Join us as we seek to Be the Light, Live Hope! 

Schedule: Annual Conference 2020 will begin at 10 a.m. CDT, 9  a.m. MDT, on October 10 with opening worship. Bishop Ough will deliver the Episcopal Address and the Sunnycrest music team will share music. There will be three plenary sessions that will encompass the missional report, voting on the 2021 Budget Proposal, the consent calendar, the nominations report, and reports from the Board of Ordained Ministry, the Dakotas United Methodist Foundation, and the Board of Pensions. You will also hear special reports from the General Conference Delegation and the Dakotas Conference Strategy Team. The day will end with closing worship and a special time to honor the ministry of Bishop and Char Ough. View the shedule.

Legislation: During the plenary sessions discussion and votes will be held on voting on the 2021 Budget Proposal, the consent calendar and the nominiations report.

Miracle Offering:  The 2020 Miracle Offering provides the opportunity to be the light and living hope for those crying out for love, compassion, justice and grace in their lives. The 2020 Miracle Offering goal is $60,000, to be shared equally among our signature missions in the Dakotas Conference:  Bakken Oil Rush Ministry, Solar Oven Partners, Spirit Lake Ministry, Tree of Life Ministries, and Bakken Out-In-Faith Ministry. Celebration of Life in Ministry Service: On September 18, 2020, we celebrated those clergy who are entering retirement, clergy and clergy spouses who have passed away in the last 18 months, those licensed pastors entering ministry, commissioned two elders and recieve an elder into full membership.
