Gracious God,

Waiting is hard. Not knowing what will happen next is hard. Wandering through the wilderness is hard.

We want so badly to move beyond this time of “wait and see” and to enter into the new thing that will be.

Help us to trust you; to trust your timing. Help us to let go of control and allow you to work in and through us.

We ask that during this additional time of waiting, we would see the beauty in all of your creation and in all of your beloved children. May we truly hear the concerns of others and see into their hearts.

Help us to wait with patience, live in grace with each other, and love everyone as you have taught us to love.

In your holy and amazing name, I pray.
