Jim Dustin, age 85, died Friday, January 3, in Fargo, North Dakota. He was a former Dakotas Conference staff member and an active lay member of the Dakotas Annual Conference. 

Jim worked as a warehouse manager for the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church during the flood of 1997.  In addition, Jim was a much appreciated 10-10-10 missionary, serving in on-site disaster response at Spirit Lake Nation where he hosted teams of volunteers in construction projects for the tribe and tribal members until his retirement in 2005.  

Funeral services for Jim will be held on Saturday, January 18, at 2:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church in Fargo. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. preceding the service.
