Bishop Rueben P. Job, 86, died at his home in Brentwood, Tennessee on January 3, 2015. A memorial service was held at Belmont United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN on Sunday, January 18, 2014. Bishop Bruce R. Ough, Dakotas-Minnesota Area preached at the memorial service on January 18. Rueben was born in Jamestown, North Dakota and raised on a farm near Tappen, North Dakota. He was ordained in the Dakotas Conference and served several churches in North Dakota: Tuttle, Minot and Calvary Church in Fargo.
