Amidst the pandemic outbreak, suspension of in-person worship continues. We invite you to worship with your local congregation virtually. You can view the link to online worship on the Dakotas Conference website’s church directory. If the link for your online worship opportunity does not show up or is incorrect, please e-mail us.

One of the advantages of worshipping virtually is the opportunity to check out services from other churches. This week two Dakotas Conference congregations, Bowman UMC and Mitchell Downtown First UMC, invite you to view worship.

Invitation from Rev. Peggy Hanson to worship with Trinity UMC in Lead, South Dakota:

Trinity United Methodist Church of Lead, South Dakota hosts "kitchen table worship" each Sunday at 9 a.m. where I lead worship from my kitchen table. It's an informal service with liturgy, prayer, and message. All are welcome to join from the comfort of their own homes, which right now, during this time of social distancing, are their sanctuaries. Experiencing God’s presence through the connection of online and radio worship.

Invitation from Rev. Ray Baker to worship with Faith UMC in Fargo, North Dakota:

Join us for drive-in worship on Sunday morning or watch us on Facebook and on the Fargo Faith website. In the age of Covid-19 we remain focused on live worship to help our parishioners feel like they are connected to our regular worship service. A parishioner brought in a trailer and built a plexiglass enclosure to keep the pastor and worship leader warm. It’s been dubbed it “The pope-mobile.”

The fun continues throughout the week with “Pastor Ray in the Morning” and “Song of the Day.”  Pastor Ray is popping up around town to lead a morning devotion, sharing scripture and inviting people to pray for specific groups: people with Covid-19, health professionals, first responders, children and their parents.  Christopher Hanson is engaging people by playing and singing contemporary music and hymns. He is wonderfully inviting people to Jesus through music.
